ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY (AUP)

1. INTRODUCTION
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the use of internet and related services (“Services”) 
provided by Sinno Technologies Africa (Pty) Ltd (“Sinno”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
This AUP forms part of the Terms and Conditions of Service. By using our Services, you agree to 
comply with this policy.
2. PURPOSE
The purpose of this AUP is to:
•  Ensure fair and responsible use of the network
•  Protect users and infrastructure
•  Comply with applicable laws and regulations
•  Maintain network performance and reliability
3. PROHIBITED USES
You may not use the Services to:
3.1 Illegal Activities
•  Engage in any unlawful activity under South African law
•  Distribute, store, or access illegal content
•  Commit fraud, identity theft, or financial crimes
3.2 Harmful or Abusive Behaviour
•  Harass, threaten, or abuse others
•  Distribute hate speech or harmful content
•  Engage in cyberbullying or online harassment
3.3 Network Abuse
•  Interfere with or disrupt the network
•  Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or accounts
•  Introduce viruses, malware, or harmful code
•  Conduct denial-of-service (DoS) or similar attacks
3.4 Unauthorised Commercial Use
•  Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission
•  Operate public hotspots or shared access points without approval
3.5 Excessive or Unfair Usage
•  Use the network in a way that negatively impacts other users
•  Circumvent network controls or bandwidth management systems
4. FAIR USAGE AND NETWORK MANAGEMENT
4.1 Sinno applies a Fair Usage Policy (FUP) to ensure equitable access for all users.
4.2 During peak periods or high demand:
•  Speeds may be reduced
•  Traffic may be prioritised
4.3 Persistent excessive usage may result in:
•  Temporary throttling
•  Service restrictions
5. PUBLIC WI-FI USAGE
Users of Sinno public Wi-Fi services must:
•  Use the network responsibly and lawfully
•  Avoid accessing illegal or harmful content
•  Understand that usage may be monitored for security purposes
Sinno reserves the right to restrict or block access to certain websites or services where necessary.
6. SECURITY RESPONSIBILITIES
You are responsible for:
•  Securing your devices and passwords
•  Preventing unauthorised access to your connection
•  Ensuring your devices are free from malware
Any misuse originating from your connection may be attributed to you.
7. MONITORING AND ENFORCEMENT
7.1 Sinno reserves the right to:
•  Monitor network usage where necessary for security and compliance
•  Investigate suspected violations
•  Cooperate with law enforcement authorities
7.2 We do not monitor the content of communications unless required by law.
8. VIOLATIONS
If you violate this AUP, Sinno may:
•  Issue a warning
•  Throttle or restrict your service
•  Suspend or terminate your access
•  Take legal action where necessary

By using Sinno’s Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply
